This weekend has been spent watching the Olympics. The track cycling has started and Britain are very good at it.
Here’s the beginning of the women’s team pursuit, which the British women won, beating the Americans, in a world record time. It wasn’t as tense as the British men (who also won gold in world record time), as the American women seemed to bottle it, unfortunately.
(Excuse the blurriness – they were going rather fast!)

Congrats to the Brits!
I love the swimming and Track and Field events.

Yes, I love the swimming too, but sadly for us, they’re on at 2 in the morning at the earliest! 😀

My family and I love watching the Olympics – my daughter is rooted to the screen during the Dressage events in particular. Just seen Max Whitlock sneak a surprise gold in the Men’s Floor – Yay!! [off to watch him and Lewis Smith shortly in the Pommel horse… 🙂 ] ~nienna

I struggle to watch the dressage. Even though I used to due dressage many years ago (took part in a few competitions too) I find watching it rather dull!
Today’s been a good day for the Brits so far!
